Cribs

Don't think we are quite ready for an episode of Crib's or anything, but we sure like it. Except for all the (about 12) mishaps that revolved around us getting provided the wrong address before we showed up, everything turned out great. Our new hospital is Good Samaritan in Puyallup. It is a part of Multi-Care health system and I have to say, it's not half bad. Great technology, the remodeled parts are all amazing, and the people are fairly nice so far. Ask me in 2 months and I'll probably be completely over it, but for now the rainy weather isn't getting me down.

From the 5th floor where the ICU is where Shawna and I work. It's really a great design except you can't ever figure out where you're going in this darn hospital. I get so lost, and I actually have a pretty good sense of direction. It's not really... but kinda funny what it does to Shawna. :)

Have to give em props; you have to swipe your badge before it will let you ride in the employee elevators. It doesn't really speed up the wait times, but oh well.

One of the back courtyards into the hospital from the employee parking garage into the back entrance. Seriously...? Just the back entrance? With a water fountain and all.

Now our little journey takes us to pictures of the new apartment. Here's my favorite parking spot. I do a little happy dance every time I see it open because it means no one can door my car. Not that I should care that much... what with all the hail damage and what-not.

One of the many doggie areas around the grounds. I don't really pay attention to the posted areas...

Don't know why I feel like anyone cares about the parking lot. Know what I didn't miss about the Northwest? The absolutely rediculous amount of speedbumps. It's retarded.

The amount of leaves on the ground right now is absurd. But the fall colors are so pretty.

The main office. This is also the building that houses the full size indoor basketball court, the business center, 15 seat movie theater, 24 hour fitness center, pool, hot-tub, and sauna. They also have tanning beds and massage therapists you can buy minutes for.

Facing one of the small courtyards that leads up to one of the "ponds." Pretty much just a collection of nasty water that's fenced off.

My room. Pardon the mess... wasn't really excited about cleaning up after a night shift.

My enormous closet. Can't really see it all, but trust me - it's better than the last one.

My bathroom. I really lucked out with all that counter space.

Shawna's room. She's sitting over by the heater :)

 Shawna's bathroom.

The first toy we had brought out for Molly in probably weeks. She was really excited about the squeaker. This is what she does when she just wants me to throw it: stares intently, sits pretty, and quivers.

Dining room and teenie tiny kitchen. It serves its purpose though.

Living room. The furniture is 10 times better than last time.

Another view. Again, sorry for the mess.

An actual wood-burning fireplace. In an apartment building with somewhere in the ballpark of 500 apartments. Good idea? Probably not. Wish I had some firewood to burn in it. I miss my fireplace from my childhood home so much.

Went to the closest dog park with Molly, which was super awesome, and found this HUGE leaf!! Pretty sure it was a maple, odd thing is it was off a little baby tree. I'm freaky white with red eyes, but I needed to show how big this mamba-jamba was.
