At this point I had only been gone for 6 weeks, but it kinda felt like forever. I got to sleep in the best bed my back had seen in forever, had delicious home-cooked meals by Mom and Clay, and of course the best part... got to see all my favorite people. I'm sure some people didn't even realize I had been gone, some didn't care, but it felt great to come back. I am planning on coming back often, so much so that I'm sure you'll all be sick of my anyways. :)
Sleep deprivation + long layover in Denver = silly Jessica.
Made it to Rapid! First people to greet me... My awesome brother TJ, his super sweet fiance Trish and their baby Camber James Evans. He must have skipped dinner, eh? I almost walked away from this with a hickey.
My bro taking me through the Taco Bell drive-thru. I was famished after not eating all day. (I am not the best of flyers as of late) He suprised me with a hair cut! I have been razzing him for months to get one. Don't think it was for me necessarily, but I loved it none the less. TJ, you are one of my favorite people in the whole world. We butt heads from time to time, but you are always willing to give me a squeeze and move past it no matter what. You have a positively infectious smile and laugh. You are such a genuine loving person. Love you.
Camber, TJ, Trish and I went to visit a few old friends.
It has been too long my friends...
Of course we HAD to go to the Sugar Shack! The best burgers ever, I swear. Same menu for ages, same burgers no substitutions. None needed. This will always and forever be TJ and my special spot. <3
Well hello, my Pretties! My mom with miss Jayda my neice. (Jeremy's girl) She was stoked to have dinner with us and see the wildlife surrounding the Sugar Shack. There was an Osprey who was feeding on the Trout in the pond right next to the building. We saw her carrying it off, still squirming and all, back to her little birdie babies.
My oldest brother, Jeremy. Love you, bro. I am so proud of you for following your dreams and never giving up. I am so excited for you to be a RN and rock the hell out of RCRH. You will be such an amazing Murse! I have enjoyed growing old with you and look forward to many more years of friendship.
The whole clan of nieces! We were super lucky to get all of them for the night. We had a fun night of "Farkle," food, and fun in the hot tub. In the morning, Mom and Clay made apple pancakes and we painted each others' nails. All just in time for the first day of school. Thanks, girls! Left to right, Brooke, Jayda, Tamara, and Taylor.
Some of my favorite work girls. We met out for dinner and drinks when they had time in their busy schedules. It was so great to catch up on the drama and girl talk over a bottle of wine. Loves! Left to right, Tasha, her roomie Rachel, and Erica. Can't wait for next time, ladies.
Such lovely girls. They make me giggle.
Back in Medford again. :( I was really excited to see Shawna and Molly again, but felt the trip was far too short. So many people I didn't get to see, so many pictures I forgot to take. I was met at the airport with a hug, a sloppy wet kiss (you guess who did what), and a big greasy pizza. Suh-weet!
I am so glad I got to spend much needed time with my Britney and Andrew, Megan and Kenan, Megan and Doug and their great kids Eric and Hayley. So much love, so much great company. Thanks guys!
